Learn to be a resource for LGBTQ and Ally students, staff and faculty. Safe Space is a training designed to give you the tools and knowledge you need to be an effective ally. Our Safe Space program is meant to teach the basics
of LGBTQ identities and culture through definitions, terminology, and an overview of current cultural, social, and political issues, activities, and plenty of time for questions and answers.
Safe Space trainings can be requested for your group or organization.
We do prefer at least a minimum of 10 members be present and that you allot at least 1 hour for training. If there must be accommodations with this request, please let us know with by filling out the form on the following page. Email email@example.com with
questions. Once you'e submitted your request, we will be in contact shortly!
*Programs must be requested at least two weeks prior to the first desired date. We cannot accommodate presentations with less than two weeks notice.
*We cannot also promise that requested training sessions after the hours of 7:00pm or on weekends can be accommodated. Unless specifically communicated with the LGBTQ Coordinator or Graduate Assistant.
