The MU Sustainability Office seeks to involve vendors from the Columbia Farmers’ Market and the Boone County Farmers’ Market at our MU Farmers’ Market. The members of these groups must meet specific and consistent food safety regulations and requirements
in producing and marketing their products. We ask that our vendors follow the Bylaws of the Boone County Farmers’ Market or the Bylaws of the Columbia Farmers’ Market. This will help us facilitate the direct exchange of high quality and safe food at our MU
Farmers’ Market. We want to meet the needs of our consumers while familiarizing them with local farmers and promoting the concept of sustainable agriculture. We hope that some of our population will become interested in growing some of their own food, plants,
etc. Our phone number is (573) 882-8207. This form must be completed at least one week before the next market date you would like to participate in. The MU Sustainability Office will determine whether the permission request is consistent with the objectives
of our event.
*If you are selling food or beverages, there is a $40 vendor fee for each market event. If you are in need of parking there will be an additional $5 per vehicle fee. We work with MU Parking and Transportation to secure this parking prior to your arrival.
This $5 parking pass will be valid for the entire day of the market. All vendor/parking fees will be collected the day of the event.
